3 WAYS TO TAKE ECG/EKG MEASUREMENT
1.Lead I
Hold onto the device with both hands.
If your ECG/EKG measurement is in a weak signal with lead I, it’s advised to use lead II.
2.Chest Lead
Hold the right electrodes with the right hand, place the device on the CHEST (below the pectoral muscles).
3.Lead II
Hold the right electrodes with the right hand, place the left electrodes on the left leg.
Lead II, which usually gives a good view of the P wave, is most commonly used to record the rhythm strip. If your ECG/EKG measurement is in a weak signal with lead I, it’s advised to use lead II.
